Most people are looking for a place to strengthen their passion for Jesus and His purposes. Every week our church meets house to house in LifeGroups, (usually sized around 10 -15 people), to come together to worship, discuss God’s Word and pray for one another. These groups are where our deepest form of community, discipleship, leadership development and evangelism are lived out. Involvement in a LifeGroup helps church members experience the love and care that each one needs, because our LifeGroup leaders function as the pastors or shepherds of the church by praying for, loving, and serving its members. And since we have LifeGroups for every stage of life, all visitors are welcome and cherished!
LifeGroups are available by age category. Click on any of the following links appropriate for you or your family to find a list of LifeGroups and the contact info of one of the leaders: Youth, College, Young Professionals, known as “The Crew,” and Families. ”The Crew” has LifeGroups designed for those post-college (or in grad school) in their twenties and thirties who are single, or newly married without children. The Families Section has groups designed for families with children.
You can also find this information by hovering your cursor over the LifeGroups tab in Menu bar above. Click on the stage of life that most fits you or your family and try out a LifeGroup near you. Read below for a look at how the early church in Antioch also met house to house to grow in passion for Jesus and His purposes.
Acts 2:42-47
“They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had every-thing in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
We believe that living in this type of devoted community is key to igniting a movement of life-giving communities marked by passion for Jesus, the transformation of lives and the reproducing of church all across the world.
