In Proverbs 3:9, we are taught to honor God with the “first fruits” of our labor. By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your first fruits are given to God.
When you allow your gift to be withdrawn directly from your checking or savings account, the church is charged a transaction fee of 50 cents. When you use your debit or credit card, the church is charged a 3% fee on the transaction amount, in addition to the 50 cents. For every $1,000 given, this is an extra $30 that the church never receives. The savings really do add up!
Although we accept credit cards online, ACC encourages you to live a debt-free lifestyle. When/if you use a credit card, we ask you to exercise integrity and only give to the church if you have cash in your bank account to cover your donation.
Online giving and recurring contributions simplify the donation and record keeping process for the church, allow you to manage your account information directly and give our team more time to devote to other tasks that we need to accomplish in order to keep our church running smoothly!
